Anthony Chmiel has developed a 2-hour video course for introducing new users to psychTestR. He has kindly contributed this video course to our website. We thank Seb Silas for providing many of the code examples used in the course.

The target audience of this video course is students who have little to no experience with R. The course aims to help beginners hit the ground running and points them in the direction of useful resources and other experiments that they could deconstruct to start figuring out other ideas on their own.

Do get in touch with Anthony with feedback if you have any, I’m sure he’ll be happy to hear from you.

Video 1 - Introduction/Overview of PsychTestR and R

Note: if you are already familiar with using R, you can ignore the final section of the video and can also ignore the three ‘results’ files. These are intended for people who are new to R. If you have not have used R before, download the free desktop version of R Studio at the following link, install the program, and run the R Script within R Studio: https://www.rstudio.com/
